tot dots™ was developed in 1999 by a stay-at-home mom with a background in jewelry design and a dad that was a graphic designer. The designs were inspired by their baby who enjoyed the clean graphic images so much that they designed a business around the tot dots™ friends that their children so much enjoyed.
In 2007, tot dots™ decided to do something to become more socially responsible. We care about the environment, minimize waste and use as many recyclable materials as we can from manufacturing to shipping. We also support research efforts on eco-friendly technologies and use them for our products when we can. We began with a simple idea: "Let’s design and market simple, modern, and safe children products to help children in need of care." We felt compelled to make a difference, because there is so much suffering in this world and children are the most vulnerable to it. tot dots™ now partners with hard-working, genuine philanthropic organizations and donates 5% of its revenues to Children’s Hospital Research Center Oakland and Doctors Without Borders.
Today, you are supporting a company that is owned and operated by a stay-at-home mother who is trying to spend as much time as possible with her triplets. She has help from her loving husband with management and the research and development of new products.
